Fundraising

It costs time and money to provide the wonderful programs that the Avon Booster Club has sponsored for our community's children. These costs are not completely covered by the Districts Budget, registration fees or sponsorships.

You can help the Booster Club in 7 easy ways:

1.     Volunteer! There are a variety of jobs that can be helpful:
     
      -     Team Parent Representative
      -     Help in the Concession stands
      -     Help with fundraising events from us or our teams
      -     Serve on the Board

2.     Donate money or supplies to help with the AHS Athletic teams.

3.     Join us at any of our fundraising events.

4.     Find out if your employer has a matching grant program.
     
        Example: "At Wachovia Bank employees track their volunteer hours at a internal volunteer website throughout the year and when 25 hours have been met, you are automatically contacted to advise if you want your $100 grant to go to your charity or volunteer organization. Wachovia gives out up to 2 grants. The money is paid out quarterly."

5.     Purchase snacks at the concession stands.

6.     Show your support by wearing AHS clothes and sporting AHS Team magnets on your car. Available at the concession stands, at signups, and though your teams.

7.     Patronizing our sponsors' businesses. Be sure to say "Thanks!" when you see them.
