ACORN

Avon Community Recreational Neighborhood, Inc. is working with our Tennis teams and the community to raise the $125,000 needed to restore the Tennis Courts at the Avon Middle School.

We are proud to announce we have been awarded a grant from the USTA which completes funding for the new tennis courts. We would like to thank all those who have made this possible with special thanks to the Town of Avon, the Board of Education and the Maximilian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, Inc.

Capital Grant

The 2012 captial vote is in and through the hard work and generosity of our members, we are able to award monetary grants to our teams in the amount of $14,215.00 to purchase much needed equipment.

We have now completed Phase I and met our first goal of raising a little over $30K so we are now able to purchase and install a state of the art scoreboard for our athletic facility at Avon High School.
